Bitches.

If you haven't voted, please do so. For some reason, I want us to win the most obnoxious blog SO bad. You can also vote for us as "best blog about blogging."

And, some of our pals have been nominated, too:

Rassles
Praying to Darwin
Maggie, Dammit

  1. I voted. (Apropos of nothing, I'm nominated in the "Best Blog About Stuff" category. And I'm not even close. Sigh.)

  2. Sweet fucking Jesus.

I went over there, tried unsuccessfully FIVE times to sign up for an account, finally figured out that I already had an account, got a new password emailed, went back, failed the captcha fortyninetytwo times, and FINALLY got my vote to count.

I must really love you, LB.

    Good luck....

  3. Done. Even though those awards started a gigantic fight between me and a tag team of a pirate hooker and a ghost, which ended up with said ghost on a calendar.

  4. I see the gap between Hilton and Ask is closing - big shocker there. His fans don't really care. Another big shocker.

Send your blog out on twitter feeds. Done in a subtle manner and a lot of eyes might read. Bored eyes, twittering eyes. Hungry eyes.

And I have some marketing friends who love obscenities, they've never read your blog I'm sure.

    Twitter it.

  7. I voted under every alias I have. I'd get my family to vote but sadly I don't think they could get past the sign up, sigh.

  9. Why this is considered some of the best blogging around is beyond me.

I'm fed up with people and won't be back online again until I cool off. That may be never.

Emo sucks and so does blah writing.

And you know what? I really, really hate curry. Everything it touches tastes exactly the same.

  13. Voted for you in both categories. Up against that Hilton dude? I think you'll win.

  14. Also voted for you in the Best Blog about Blogging category. You should have a fat whoring link to that as well so we don't have to slave so much for you.

  15. Gap - I've been on a little hiatus myself. But I had to post to say - I agree with you. I read the Dooce blog and I am completely underwhelmed. From the chatter I was expecting greatness. Maybe I need to dig in the archives to find the good stuff. Alright, I'm off to vote for Darwin.

  17. You know, Raymi, some people have to WORK HARD to be as obnoxious as we are, but somehow it just comes naturally to us (and apparently, our reviewees and commenters).

  18. Awwwww, shucks, I didn't even have to put that up myself. And that's good, cuz I'm lazy as all get out.

  19. They want a post code and a date of birth off me to register ... they've got to be kidding. They don't need to know that about me.

I've already had my identity spoofed and it is a real pain in the A. Since then, I'm a lot more careful about what I give out. I know there is a lot out there, including my name and address for those who know how to find it; but I'm not going to freely hand it over.

  20. Michelle - that really sucks that you had your identity stolen. I'm pretty nervouse about having that happen too. As far as sites asking for date of birth, I think that's only to "verify" that you are over a certain age. I always just make up a date of birth. It's not as though they check it or something. Any of the info you put doesn't have to be real, except for the email address.

  21. Hi Gwen,

Yeh, but there's a minor problem - when I inevitably forget the password, they need that stuff to reset it. Doh!

  22. What gap and Gwen said. I subscribed to dooce.com for about 6 weeks a year ago and simply gave up after the squintillionth post about her fxcking dogs. If there ever were a poster blog for coasting along on former glory, that's the one.

  23. Maggie has been nominated, too. By me. Just FYI.

I actually think Perez is way more obnoxious than we are, but that just makes me want to beat him. Hard.

I'm gonna whore out a link on my blog and my twitter feed, too, just in case.
