Replying here to say that if I actually had time to post in the comments more than once or twice a week, I'd offer to review a blog. However I don't think I can make the appropriate time commitment, at least not right now.

I think it's taking about 4 months to review blogs these days, worse right now during the summer because we are down one reviewer and balancing people's summer vacations. I don't think any of the regular ask reviewers would be willing to hurry that process because it would mean reviewing more blogs each week, and we already do one each, which seems plenty to us.
I don't understand the shit sandwich concept, though. I think we tell the truth, as we see it, and we don't generally trash blogs unless it's warranted.
I don't think I have it in me to review. Maybe if I could be completely anonymous. Otherwise, I'd end up kissing unworthy ass.
Last I checked, AAYSR could sniff out a thinly veiled ass licker toasted with cheese between your shit sandwich. It's about as unappealing as it sounds.
You know who really should be a guest reviewer-- Blue as in Bluestreak, she is so kick ass.
