I have the sudden urge to eat.

What it is, what it is! I've been asked to do a few reviews, and I'm funking up the system and this whole first come first serve thing is just going straight out the window. Can't nobody hold me down, OH NO! I'm gonna review what I want!

Caveat: I may be nicer than the other reviewers-I don't actually blog. I just read and occasionally comment, so if you want a review with a little less soul-glow coming through, resubmit. Otherwise, let the games begin.

First up is The Queer Chef . Look at him up in the header checkin' out some man poon-he sure is spicy! In all seriousness though, I really like the header. It's cooking and gay combined in a snapshot of lust. Who doesn't love sex and cooking? Yea, that's right. Everyone loves a little dick with their entree, or a little pussy for dessert. What's yo flava? Tell me what's yo flava?

The template is pretty sweet. The background green stripped thing, or whatever, makes me think of the underwear the last girl that got her some good'n'plenty was wearing. Something about it screams Victoria's Secret to me, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. I'm a straight guy, so it's the kind of over the top silliness I would probably avoid, but I think it suits his site and his open queer factor. Before I go on, by the way, made props for being so open about it. It's very admirable.

Right, so as I was saying, the template is pretty good. It's a shitload of green, but it all seems to work in a way that straight men wish they could coordinate. The sidebar is neat and uber stylish, with a little bubble-thingy to lead you to wherever you want to go. He's got music, he's got a biography (wow! he lives in Norway and speaks better English than most people in the USA. Oh, wait, I forgot that the national language of America is now ebonics. My bad!), he even categorizes his posts in the "menu" section, and even has some recipes in some of the meal categories. Overall, I dig it.

The first post is about how he met his boyfriend--how sweet. Once again props for being so open about it. I'm sure things are different in Europe, but here in the good ol' USA being gay is still a bit of a sticky subject which causes some people not to scream it loud and proud. I have to say I'm really impressed with the fact his English is so good (no offense bro, I've never been to Norway but I imagine you guys don't sit around speaking English. Pardon my ignorance if otherwise). His posts go from recipes to personal to pictures. He's very open but in a way that leaves some mystery, which is good seeing as people are insane and the internet is wher insane people go to get off.

Overall? I like it, but I don't think I'll add it to my list of blogs to read daily because I can't cook for shit and the site just makes me hungry with all the recipes and pictures of gourmet food. I will come back to check things out, for sure.

I give it two stars for having a sweet ass template, some delicious looking recipes, and being really well written. Keep on keepin' on!
