I probably shouldn't be reviewing someone while watching football, let alone while my team is currently losing, but I have hope that they can turn shit around in the second half and win so I can gloat at work tomorrow morning, rather than be the victim of "Hah! Your team sucks!" jabs all day at work. It's the downfall of working in a predominately all male office, but I think they're still bitter over me kicking ass in fantasy football last year. Never doubt the girl with six brothers. Leave it at that.
Right. Putting my football woes aside (because they will probably be many in the season to come), I got the wonderful pleasure of reviewing Jaded Sunburns. No, I'm not being sarcastic but I very may well be overompensating for that FUCKING FUMBLE! Fucking bitches!
*cough*
Anyway, the lovely Ms. Jade (which makes me think of the hip hop artist, whom, coincidently I do recommend for anyone to check out), is not only a fiery hot redheaded mother of three, but is also a Gemini like a certain reviewer who is currently...wait, hold it....TOUCHDOWN! What was I saying? Oh! The old addage that blondes have more fun is a crock of shit, ladies and gentleman. Gemini's have more fun. Period.
The template is phenomenal. It's organized, it's colorful but not blinding, the right hand sidebar uses collapsible menus, and there's a navigation bar at the top. It's seriously orgasmic, especially if you're a glutton for organization, which I am. The only thing I suggest for the aesthetic of the blog is adding a favIcon. I may just be super picky, but I think the lack of one is noticeable since most websites have them.
But the awesomeness doesn't stop there, for the content is delicious as well. From runny toothpaste, to cervical cancer and the parental dilemma's of the vaccine, to home improvement play-by-plays, she talks about whatever is on her mind. She rights well, she's comical, and she just revels in being herself. You should to. The only thing I found glaringly wrong, is that in the cervical cancer post she refers to the vaccine getting CDC approval which is wrong. It's FDA approval. The CDC studies diseases and plays with the last living strains of small pox, the FDA approves medications, vaccines, stipulates specifications for food etc.
I give it for the obvious reasons I went through above.
No one seems to be commenting and I didn't want you to think that meant no one was reading.
