The God Slot

You know, I keep waiting for something truly shitty to come across for me to review, but as of yet, I haven't had to pull out the insults and putdowns. Guess what? It's not going to happen today either.

Dubious Wonder should be on your blogroll. I don't care who you are, and I don't care what you write about, you should make it a point to stop by and read this on a daily basis. Now, let's talk about content. She's a mother of two, but this doesn't qualify as a "mommy" blog. She's a divorcee, but this doesn't qualify as a "bitter divorcee" blog (although when she gets on a roll about her ex-husband, it can get slightly out of hand). She has a fairly interesting job, but it doesn't qualify as a "look at how important my job is" type of thing. Finally, she apparently has a chef boy-toy, but it doesn't qualify as a "wow, look at me and my hot boyfriend" blog, either.

What it does qualify for is awesomeness. She obviously had a template built for her, and the purple pattern is pleasing because it doesn't distract, and...I like purple. The header photo is of her legs, and although it looks like it might hurt to sit in that way, those are some sexy pins. The sidebar is long, but neatly organized with a white background and black text. She's got the content, both text and sidebar, is centered.

The content varies. She often comments on her daily goings-on, she'll do memes, she'll do observational pieces and the great thing about them is, you'll always be entertained.

Look, I like this blog. Go read it, go enjoy it, and although I can't put a million images here, you get

because I love this blog.

Also, no doubt,

  2. I'll have you know I put her on our little Blogroll long before you reviewed her :)

I do love her blog. I've been secretly plotting to kill you, Sir Balls, if you didn't give her a good review.

    It's all love though, baby.
